It is a new year and a lot has happened over the last few month. Long time president and owner of the German Canadian Business & Trade Publication, Eva Wazda has decided to retire and has handed over operations to the next generation of German Canadians to continue to run the directory.

In that process, germancanadian.com has been officially incorporated and has changed its name from German Canadian Business & Trade Publication to German Canadian Directory. Not only that, but germancanadian.com has dropped the print publication to move towards the future, because we believe, we can serve you better with an online publication of our directory. This will allow every business, which is listed, better ways to demonstrate who they are.

For the past few month, we spent countless hours to revamp the existing website, to create an environment that is easy to navigate, which user friendly, with enhanced search functionalities, and which is web 2.0 conform. We believe to have achieved the impossible. We created a directory, which not only lists all Germanic Canadian businesses, but makes it interactive for all who are listed. You are in charge of your own listing and can decided at any time what can and cannot be seen. You can edit, change and add any information at any give time. Get involved.
